I ran into Stic.Man at a formal reception after a Congressional Black Caucus gala in the Reagan Building, a Federal office and event space in downtown Washington, DC. The crowd had a few entertainers sprinkled throughout, recognizable faces like Isiah Thomas, Holly Robinson and Rodney Peete, to name a few, no real stretch.

The Okayplayer Holiday jam was a durrrn good time. Currently in its 4th year, the event is an annual holiday party filled with great live music, great fans, and loaded with surprises. Backed by The Roots, the talent for the evening included, DJ Soul, J. Period, Rahzel, John Legend, Estelle, The Cast of FELA, Melvin Van Peebles, Yelawolf, and the incomparable Patti Labelle among others.
