Southern University Homecoming 2010 was properly kicked off by the combination of Drack Muse’ Extra Mild Sauce, Alumni Roundup and hundreds of Alumni back in Baton Rouge.

Florida A&M University freshman, Ralph Jones Jr., a 16 year old from Atlanta, Ga. turned down prominent Ivy League institutions such as Harvard to become a Rattler.
Coming into this game Florida A & M had just come off of a monstrous win over Howard University just last week (50 – 7), to top that off, FAMU Alum and Celebrity Movie Producer Will Packer flipped the coin to welcome Tennessee State to Atlanta.
The 2010 Whitney M. Young Scholarship Classic hosted The Howard University Bison and the Morgans State University Bears. Though the football could have been better (MSU 20 Howard 3) the experience was a good time.
The Howard vs FAMU game was nothing short of a full embarrassment (50-7) on the part of the HU football program. But as my friends say “We ain’t never lost a party!” 😉
This is the first proton therapy center connected with a historically black university and the only one of eight in this country not connected with a medical school. The institute should generate between $80 million and $100 million a year in revenue.
